Since founding the company in 1998, Jerry Miller has guided the growth of The Miller Group and its affiliated companies as Owner and CEO. A 1977 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he also served seven years as a Surface Warfare Officer. Jerry co-founded Earl Industries in 1985 and purchased the company outright in 1989 leading the company through many years of success and ultimately to its sale to General Dynamics in 2012.


President/Chief Operating Officer

Tim is responsible for the overall financial performance and development of The Miller Group. He manages our design-build sale and lease projects, third-party construction contracts with our trusted partners and vendors, and our joint venture development projects. Tim has over 34 years of industry experience and has been with the company since 2004. He is committed to delivering exceptional value to all Miller Group’s stakeholders.


Manager Of Real Estate Development

Laurie is The Miller Group’s point person for all development projects, providing efficient coordination through various critical path issues to ultimate conclusion. This incorporates coordination and negotiation with the client, legal resources, financial institutions, public authorities, and construction division. With over 18 years of management experience, Laurie brings effective communication and perspective to meet all stakeholders’ expectations.


Vice President, Development

Whit oversees all corporate development for The Miller Group. He works closely with the brokerage community and owners to assist them with future expansion requirements throughout the region. He is the front-line for new investment, commercial and residential development opportunities for the company. With over 25 years of sales, management and client relations experience, Whit has cultivated partnerships with countless developers and owners of companies throughout the country.



Catherine is responsible for all daily accounting and financial reporting, human resources and computer administration. She works with owners, financial institutions and auditors to provide timely and accurate reports. Catherine joined The Miller Group in 2005 with over 20 years of experience in construction administration.

Mike works closely with our executive team overseeing project analysis, ongoing estimating, design management, construction management, tenant fit-out, scheduling, procurement, and cost and quality control services. His extensive portfolio, and more than 40 years of construction experience, allows him to foresee obstacles and procure solutions from the earliest visioning stages through construction completion.


Asset Manager

While working with the Vice President, Kim coordinates all functions of facility management. She is also very active in the day to day sales, leasing and marketing activities related to commercial properties owned and managed by The Miller Group. Kim joined the company in 2013; her more than 10 years of residential property management and former sales and marketing experience has been an asset to the company.



Carrie oversees all administrative services for The Miller Group. She works closely with the President and all business unit leaders to ensure the organization has the proper staff, skills, and resources needed to operate smoothly and efficiently. Carrie has over 15 years of construction administration, accounting, and management experience.


The Miller Group is currently converting from Procore to CMiC, a state-of-the-art construction management software platform. This intelligent software runs every aspect of the business, from project management to accounting, in a single database. CMiC ERP & Financials manages all financials, human capital, and equipment effortlessly. CMiC Field allows project managers and site supervisors to control all aspects of project planning and tracking. By using CMiC, it will allow all team members to stay connected during every aspect of a project in a single software platform.
