Chief Administrative Officer

Peter (Pete) Buryk serves as the Chief Administrative Officer at The Miller Group where he leads our Central Services Team including Finance and Accounting, Treasury, IT, Human Resources, and Safety in support of our multiple business leaders. Pete previously worked for the City of Norfolk in a variety of internal services and community-facing roles. Most recently, he served as Director of Budget and Strategic Planning leading the development and execution of the city’s financial plan and managing the city’s data analytics and grants teams. Pete also worked in the policy research and analysis industry for a lead firm and served in the U.S. Navy for 14 years. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and Georgetown University. He and his wife, Melissa, are the proud parents of three children.
