Dominion Energy Offshore Wind Monitoring and Coordination Center (MCC)

The Dominion Energy Offshore Wind Monitoring and Coordination Center (MCC) is situated at Fairwinds Landing, our development in Norfolk, Virginia. Covering 7.5 acres of land along the Elizabeth River, this cutting-edge facility will house a 31,167-square foot operations and maintenance center. Here, personnel can oversee maritime activities, analyze asset performance, engage in strategic planning, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Additionally, the MCC will feature a 17,280-square-foot warehouse for spare parts storage and 950 linear feet of pier frontage for offshore wind project support and crew vessels. With a capacity to accommodate over 45 shore-based personnel and 60 vessel-based personnel at any given time, the MCC is poised to play a pivotal role in advancing offshore wind energy initiatives in the region

Scheduled for completion in 2025, the MCC will serve as Dominion Energy's homeport for operations and maintenance activities supporting the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) commercial project off Virginia Beach. .
